How do you store marigold seeds for next year?
In an envelope. That's the usual way.

Last year I stored mine in the soil where they fell. Worked really well. Now have wonder blooms continuing.
Reply:Be sure they are dry and then put them in a clean dry container in the dark. They are easy to keep and reseed.
Reply:I put them in a paper sack with a little bit of rice to keep excess moisture away.
Reply:I put mine in coffee cans or clear jars with the lids not on them it seems to me that every time I have put them in a sealed container something is moist and the seeds start to mold so I like the idea of the clear jars because I can see whats in it and tell what it is and I always like to put a picture in it so I know what variety it is, the coffee cans are good because of the size.

You have several choices for storing your marigold seeds.

1) Envelope

2) Paper bag

3) Small, waterproof plastic container.

Just keep them out of extremes in temperatures.

You will have beautiful Marigolds (Tagates) next year.

I sincerely hope this helps you.
