Are marigold seeds if swallowed toxic?

No, but I would not recomment eating too many.

Are marigold seeds if swallowed toxic?
Yes, they can be.

The Washington (State) Dept of Health lists the marsh marigold as a toxic plant. (The whole plant is toxic, not just the seeds.) Other websites I found list it as potentially lethal but I think that would be in massive doses. EDIT: The D o H does NOT list it as lethal.

Here is the link to the Wa. D o H search page. It's a free, non-comerical site.

Type in 'toxic plants' and it will take you to the list. (The URL for the toxic plants page was so long I wasn't sure if it would even fit in this answer page.)

Note that it is listed under Marsh Marigold

If you are concerned that a child has swallowed any seeds or eaten leaves, etc, call a doctor for advice.
