If my Marigold's are already dropping seeds.....?

If my Marigold's are already dropping seeds, will those seeds begin to grow? Since it is still so early in growing season.. Spring started in February and we will continue to have warm weather until late November before any temperatures begin to drop. Or do the seeds need 'sleep' for a season? Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm sure they will grow. If you will "deadhead" (cut off the almost dead flowers), your grown plants will keep on blooming.
