What would you say are Marigold(the plant)'s growth rate???

I'm doing an experiment and can't find the answer to this anywhere online!!! Help Plzzz!!!!!!!!!!

What would you say are Marigold(the plant)'s growth rate???
I deadheaded my marigolds and scattered the seeds and I had marigolds all over my garden within 3-4 weeks. I did this all summer and by fall when all my other plants were dying off my garden was smothered in beautiful fall colors
Reply:If you wanted just a "story" instead of an informational answer that you might learn from, I'd of written it with alot more "bologna". Unbelievable! Report It

Reply:Is it a marsh marigold or another kind..there are different types of soils.
Reply:fast. They flowers within a month of planting
Reply:Its classified as a fast grower. It is an "annual" flower, which means that it goes from seed to bloom in 1 growing season which is considered to be fast growing, then dies back after the first hard frost. It completes its life cycle within a years time. Hope this answers your question.
