Has anyone every tried EQyss Marigold Spray as a fly repellant on horses? If so, how did you like it?

I used this stuff and LOVED it. Its just as effective as most fly sprays and while slightly more expensive it smells wonderful and doesn't hurt the horses if my chance they get it in their eyes (which I had one horse do when my mom was fly spraying him).

It isn't a miracle that will keep all the flies off, but as most horse owners know, no fly spray has the ability to keep flies off for a long period of time. It keeps many of them from biting and isn't oily and offensive. I love this stuff and swear by it.

Terrible stuff, doesn't work at all.

Which is unfortunate, because other EQyss products, like Premier Spray (smells amazing too!), Micro-Tek (excellent for skin conditions) and McNasty (for horses that chew wood, etc) work very well!

For effective fly spray you're better off with a tried and true product like Ultra-Shield.

Bronco doesn't work very well, either.
Reply:I'm afraid that I haven't personally, but my friends use it and they love it...the most that I know for sure is that it smells AWESOME...but I heard that it works well too, which is expected by EQyss...
Reply:i bought it at a local tack store and it was the cheapest repellant they sold so i gave it a try. it smells wonderful and worked well...but only for a month or too and then i think the flies became immune to it.
Reply:I have never tried it, but it is one of our best sellers at the store. I only buy spray that also kills ticks and mosquito's.
Reply:Marigold is the only flyspray we use at our barn. It seems to be the only flyspray that works for us, and it smells really good too. :) I love it.
