Buy you some bug spray that is safe to use on plants . You can find it in the garden centers of wal-mart , home depot , etc...
Reply:Wow. Something is eating your marigolds? Not too many things like them.

You could try putting down an Organic fertilizer, such as Milorganite, which some pests dislike because of it's smell. This fertilizer, among some others, is a byproduct from sewage. Yeah, it sounds bad, but people use it as a pest repellent.
Reply:I have the same problem when I put out the bedding plants. They go after things in pots on the porch too! They pull the plants right out. I think it is squirrels digging around where the dirt has been disturbed. They think someone has buried a nut for them maybe. I put some landscape fabric and bits of chicken wire, whatever I have, around the plants and spread a little mulch to hide it. It seems to slow them down.
Reply:It could be any number of critters, rabbit, squirrel, etc.if they are just eating the foliage.Call your local nursery. They will likely know what is in your area, and how to treat it.Good Luck
